Isaiah Burridge & Our Moms Submitted by: Carlene Burridge | First, Isaiah is doing wonderfully- God has blessed Isaiah with his health- We are thankful.
Secondly- Isaiah has tests-this coming Wed 9-8 and Thursday 9-9 At Children's Hospital for His Heart- This is the regular every other year Heart & Cath Procedure Study- Isaiah has an MRI-IV Study Wed and then His Cath is Thurs- we will be at the hospital both days-- Pray for good outcome on these studies that his arteries are clear and pristine in every way. Pray for Isaiah's peace on this- It's never fun having a Cath-- but I know to him this is a piece of cake- compared to all the things he has been thru with his recent Kidney Transplant... Thank you church family for always remembering Isaiah and our family in your prayers- We feel and know that-- God is good to us.
As far as our Moms-- My Mom, is the same but she looked good to me--physically- mentally- a different story- but she did know me this time--
Michael's Mom- keep her in your prayers- her prognosis is poor with CHF- Pulmonary- Diabetes-she is in Skilled Nursing-Presby Dallas-Docs not giving much hope for long-term- but our God is bigger and HE only knows when it's time for any of us to come home so we will keep taking this to God in prayer.

Urgent need for prayers Submitted by: Jan Trokey | This email was received from Randy's sister June . Another hurdle for Cindy:
Cindy needs your urgent prayers right now! I told you about the rash that Cindy has. It has been getting worse everyday. Today they noticed blisters on her shoulders and she had erosions in her mouth. They sent her to St. John's Burn Center where she was diagnosed with Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, a rare but severe allergic reaction to a medication. This is where the skin starts to die and sluffs off. This is very serious. The doctors said that if it spreads to over 50% of her body she may not make it. When the skin comes off she is very susceptible to bacterial infections.
They had to put her on the ventilator because she was having some trouble breathing. I got to see her for a while tonight and she looks more peaceful than she has in days. They will start her on an IV-IG (?) tonight. They said this can help stop the spread. The doctors said the next 2-3 days will tell.
Please let our God hear from all of us. To Him be the glory, Him who is able to do unmeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine.

Patient Prayers Submitted by: Jan Trokey | Just as each patient touches my heart these two young people have made a lasting impression on me. Both for their physical conditiona and their trust in the Lord. By first name only I will tell you each story and ask that prayers go out to them and the family members.
Wendall is 29 yrs old. He was boating with a friend and decided to go swimming when he dove out of the boat the water was only 18 inches deep. The end result, a broken neck at C-5 which controls most of our abilities to raise our arms or move our legs. Therefore, Wendall is paralized from the waist down. When I visited with him he was positive that without God in his life he would not have survived and also he feels certain that with prayer healing will occur and his prayer is to at least get the movement of his arms and hands to return.
Christine is a 32 yr old with severe melanoma in her right lower leg, she has already had two surgeries and this particular cance is one that will grow fingers and attach to nerves and muscles. She also is very positive regarding the healing of God in her life. She has a 3 yrs old son and is most concerned for him if she was not to make it through this Cancer.
Please pray for each one and ask that God continues to give them strength. | 08-29-2010 |
Pastor Ed Submitted by: Cathy Wilkinson | Ed was getting his strength back & feeling really good since his sugar was down way lower than it had been in a long, long time. Yesterday he called me around 3:30 & said he was back in the ER. He had called one of the elders to take him. He had gone downstairs & was walking towards the couch when he heard a loud pop & went down. He ruptured the achilles tendon in his good leg. Took him to orthopedic dr today. he will not have surgery. They put him in cast & dr. says scar tissue will form & tendon will heal itself. He will be in cast for 4 weeks. His other leg is not strong since he lost so much of the muscle in it when he was laid up 2 years ago with it.

Belinda Burridge Submitted by: Mike Burridge | Belinda is 75 years old; has congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and is diabetic. They gave Michael no hope-mother is dying. She is being moved to Skilled Nursing-she cannot go home. They told Michelle (Michael's sister) to call the family to come & see their mother.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
We know since our Lord suffered we will suffer and let us find comfort in knowing that the Lord is not the light at the end of the tunnel; He is the one walking through it with us. | 08-18-2010 |

Pauline Burridge Submitted by: Carlene Burridge | Pauline has been suffering for a long time now as well as her family members. We will lift her in prayer for the Lord's will to be shown to the ones who need the comfort and for Pauline to find some kind of rest with this dibilitating disease.
Carlene is right; go ahead & read Proverbs 3:5-6. It is a healthy Scripture. | 08-18-2010 |
