College Pep Packages Leader: Pam Olsson
Our College and Military Pep Package Ministry sends care packages and greetings to our college students and young adults in military service. WCC understands this is an important time in their lives and important times require prayer and support. Our church believes these young adults are the future leaders of the church and our community. This mission of this ministry is to maintain contact with our college students and military personnel by letting them know that our church loves and cares for them. Several times a year we mail care packages and cards of encouragement from our church members to students and service men and women. All are invited to participate in this ministry. Volunteers are needed to:
- Commit to pray for the recipients,
- Supply goodies for the boxes (either homemade or purchased),
- Provide financial support to pay shipping costs,
- Assist in packing the boxes, and
- Send birthday greetings
